Often played by fiddler Lem Jay on Charlottetown radio. Jay had his own radio show from 1925-31; from the 1930s until 1958, hid playing was featured on an annual "special" during the week between Christmas and New Year's. Notation for a version of the tune played by his son Roland is in The Fiddle Music of Prince Edward Island.
