KP You said you started at 15? How did you get started on the fiddle?

AM Oh I don't know. I was playing guitar and playing guitar, and just one day I said, "I think I could play the fiddle if I tried." So one day I grabbed the fiddle, and it wasn't too long before I got a little tune out of her. I had lots of tunes in my head from chordin' to Dad with the guitar, so it came pretty easy. 'Cause all I had to do is find the things on the fiddle, cause I had it all in my head. That's one good thing about it. So once Dad could see that I was interested in it, so then he taught me all he could. He didn't read either, I don't read music either. I'd just watch him and listen to him and play by ear.
