This tune appears under this title in O'Neill's Music of Ireland. It's called "Maud Miller" in 1000 Fiddle Tunes, and "The Strawberry Beds" in Kerr's Merry Melodies. Notation for a version played by Sterling Baker is in The Fiddle Music of Prince Edward Island.

In the 1930s, a well known American recording artist named "Fiddlin' Arthur" Smith composed a completely unrelated tune entitled "Blackberry Blossom" that has since become a bluegrass standard.
