AM: He [Hector MacDonald] had a nice rhythm, everybody loved his fiddling.
KP: What did they like about his fiddling?
AM: Well, beautiful dance fiddling, and even to sit and listen, you'd never get tired of it. That's one thing. Some fiddlers, they sound good at first, but the more you listen to them if it's not that good or something you get tired of it. But he could play all night and it seemed the more he played the better he got. Like he'd never start slowin 'down and missin' or anything, just rip through them there, you'd think he just started. It was great.
